![]() May I add cosmetics that look very good in game and were not lackluster. Releasing slightly before the campaign of the game, multiplayer for Halo Infinite came out to mostly positive perception, from myself included, the full release felt very polished, very fun, and even though the progression system was faulty and slow, that was fixed within a week, and although I was disappointed about microtransactions being implemented, I understood why, multiplayer was free, seperate from the campaign, and only cosmetics were purchasable. While feeling slightly shorter, possibly benefiting from a dlc to the campaign, was very fleshed out, felt crisp, and unlike many other current games that release “finished”, leaving me wanting more Halo, and making me just as excited for the next release in this long beloved franchise. And last but not least John 117, The Master Chief deals against odds that are heavily against him he once again rushes to fight head on, while having to grow to trust his new A.I companion “The Weapon”, and know she can “Finish the Fight” and let Cortana go and realize it wasn’t his fault for her rampency as the game continues. Escharuam, the aged and incredibly experienced Banished warchief who finds a new found goal and obsession with the Master Chief, to be immortalized as a legend with a new rival, sending himself and his entire army against one man. The main story, introducing great new characters, such as Echo-216, who deals with guilt, and the longing to just go home, the new A.I for the time being named “The Weapon” with an innocent, naive personality that grows and learns as time goes on. ![]() The optional quests like, liberating and destroying Banished camps to push the odds back into the UNSCs favor, saving marine squads, and hunting down some of humanity's most wanted targets, were incredibly enjoyable, they definitely made me feel like a one man army that is the only hope for humanity, as well as the main campaign missions that introduced new enemy types, and teasing the next big bad and setting up future games. Gameplay fluid and incredibly adaptable and fun like Halo 3, with a new open world mechanic that worked incredibly well, feeling full, and living, like the Banished (villains of the game) had full control of the ring, with you taking it back from them. And Halo Infinite delivered that breath of life heavilyĬoming into this campaign I had incredibly high expectations, wanting a story more akin to the first trilogy of Halo, and I was not disappointed, as I went through the game, it felt more and more like the first 3 games all mixed together, a landscape very reminiscent of Halo: Combat Evolved, and Halo 2. Halo was in heavy need of a revival, and the longer the game is out and played by more, the franchise needed new life. After the disappointing release of Halo 5, and divided reception of Halo 4. After a year-long delay of the game after criticism of graphics, fans, like myself, were incredibly excited to finally jump into a new Halo. With an intriguing campaign, fun multiplayer, and many features to come. ![]() Halo infinite, releasing on December 7th, as a game nothing short of amazing.
